Organic ingredients are good for the environment, but they're not grown with the sole intention of becoming the most nutrient rich ingredients as with hydroponically grown organic ingredients. The hydroponic method of growing plants is difficult and expensive but it is the only real option when potency and high nutrient content is paramount. Hydroponics: Hydroponics is an often misunderstood process of fertilizing the plant through the root system using a nutrient rich highly oxygenated water solution as a growth medium rather than soil. Each all natural nutrient, in its simplest form and size, provides maximum availability to the plant itself. Since botanical ingredients are affected by even the slightest variations in sun levels, disease and hydration the nutrient percentages can be adjusted to fit the changing needs of the plants. Greenhouse: Thanks to the climate controlled (70 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit) greenhouses plants can be harvested year round. No pesticides or herbicides are needed. This enables the aloe to grow to the highest nutrient level and quality possible. Once the plants have completely matured they are removed from the sand, root and all. After harvesting up to 60 pounds of leaf the remaining heart and root are then replanted allowing for the highest level of plant regeneration possible. This timely processing of the plant allows for the strongest, most concentrated product possible.

Botanical extracts are much more susceptible to quality variation than synthetic products. In order to be the highest quality, a plant must be healthy and disease free. Plants are significantly affected by harvest time, care during transport, storage, growing conditions of the plant and the method of extraction of active ingredients. Since we grow our plants hydroponically in a temperature controlled greenhouse there are no toxins, no disease issues and we can maintain the most consistent plant growth yielding the most nutrient rich ingredients and products possible. Pure Innovation: Extracting the Most Nutrients Possible
Using a proprietary method our 100% organic aloe is TRUE whole leaf, not a carbon-filtered shell of itself that's void of most the nutrients that the plant originally had. Although normal carbon filtering (standard method) eliminates Aloin, it also removes the plants important nutrients; including most, of the anti-oxidants, amino acids, enzymes, minerals and multiple vitamins. Blanching: After the leaves are removed from the plant each leaf goes through a power washing system where it is thoroughly cleaned with hot water and a food grade sterilizing agent. A conveyor system then transports the leaf to a stainless steel grinder. Then into a 500 gallon closed-top-vacuum-sealed food processing tanks. It is in these tanks that the two naturally-based preservatives, potassium sorbate and Sodium benzoate are added. In order to further sterilize the product and defend against future contamination by organisms, including those that may cause disease, Citric Acid and Ascorbic Acid are also added to the Aloe.

Separating: The process of SEPARATING the liquid from the fiber in a Swaco Separator is the next step in this intense and expensive process. The Aloe passes through a series of stainless steel screens. Which eliminating unwanted fibers which otherwise would hinder further processing.

Concentrating: Now it is time to CONCENTRATE! A vacuum dehydrator essentially pulls the water from the Aloe at a temperature ranging from 110 to 115 degrees Fahrenheit. Upon the removal of up to 90% of the Aloe's water content, the concentrated Aloe is placed into drums where it is analyzed to assure that it is nutrient-rich and Aloin free.
